Hello, I'm Dannielle and welcome to 'hear2listen'.

Hear2listen is a mobile service that comes to you to work with you within your own home, pre-school or school etc.

I provide practical therapeutic support and interventions that are individually tailored to address the individual needs of children/ young people and their families to give children the best possible start to life.

I also work with adults addressing issues/concerns/ barriers such as grief and loss, anxiety, depression, chronic sorrow.

I listen to what you want and what your needs are and then work with you to develop a plan to achieve your goals.

I hold a Degree in counselling and counselling put simply is a "conversation with a purpose". It is a process that helps you to address barriers in your life by helping you to clarify issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness.

Counselling is a process that builds on your strengths and can lead to positive change in a person's life.

I have been working with children, young people, adults and families with and without disabilities for over 30 years.

I utilise a strengths based, person/family centred approach to empower and strengthen children, young people, adults and families to enable them to lead an inclusive life.

How does 'hear2listen' work within your NDIS plan:

I am registered to provide "Therapeutic Supports" under "Improved Daily Living" working with children, young people, adults between the ages of 7 - 64 years.

I am also able to work with younger children and their families if your NDIS plan is self managed.

I am a registered Counsellor which means I am an "Allied Health Professional". I am able to provide individual counselling and I also work more broadly to provide therapeutic support and interventions, working holistically to address the needs of children, young people and their families.

Addressing the needs of the child by working within the day to day function of the family - this is a person centred/ family centred therapeutic approach.

I do not charge for our initial consultation/home visit as this meeting is used to identify your needs as stated in your NDIS plan. We discuss suitability of us working together and if agreeable we will complete an NDIS sign up to commence working together...
