TESTIMONIALS

RACHAEL

Dannielle has worked with my family in a number of capacities for the last 2 years and has been an integral part of acquiring information and sourcing resources... her contributions made starting my two youngest sons in preschool a smooth change that my children could cope with.... both boys have Autism... also amazing in helping to transition from preschool to kindergarten ... assisting the school in preparing for their additional needs and addressing behavioural issues before they became huge obstacles ... can never thank you enough for your time, commitment and compassion.

WoW what can I say.... I have had so many other services come and say they would come to the home or to the school but they didn't follow through with the support.

Once Dannielle came she listened to what I said my children needed, we went through their NDIS plans and we developed a plan to meet my childrens needs. She organised pre-school and school visits like she said she would and started working within my home/school.

School is now more aware of my daughters needs and are working to get funding to put the supports she needs at school.

Also I have never felt put down by Dannielle she encourages me, gives me different strategies to use and role models what she's talking about so i understand how to do it. She has given me support with writing my daily routine to implement positive changes to my family. I've changed because I have learn't new ways to help make it less stressful. I am calmer and I am able to work with my husband to be more consistent with my children and they are doing really well. Both my children have additional needs and this will not change but with Dannielle's support I feel hopeful that things will continue to improve.

My name is Barbara and I suffer panic attacks, depression and OCD.

My mother came to live with me 10 years ago suffering mild dementia and ill health.

Dannielle counselled me during these years and helped me cope with Mum’s ongoing deterioration which caused me a lot of sadness and anger.

Mum wanted to die at home with us and I found this idea extremely hard to face.

I talked to Dannielle about this idea of Mum’s and she was able to give me suggestions on how to approach the subject with my family so we could all talk openly about Mum dying. This was very helpful to me and I was able to get my family’s help in nursing Mum as she approached the end of her life ....  Mum ended up being in a hospital bed in my loungeroom   which I found very distressful and confronting. Dannielle was able to help me step back and let the community/palliative nursing services and my family share the 24 hour nursing that Mum needed with me. Mum died in September this year.

I believe that Dannielle saved my sanity and  taught me coping skills that have made me a better person .. I can never thank her enough.
